Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details. Your name and email, or the identifier Apple or Google gives us when you sign in with them.
• Your brand kit. Business name, colours, logo, the style you pick, and the website or social profile link you give us, along with the public content we read from that page to build your kit.
• Photos, videos and prompts you add. Only the ones you choose to put into CreaSho, and the reels we make from them. We never scan your camera roll.
• Purchase status. Whether you have an active plan, as reported by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card details.
• Usage data. Which features you use and when, linked to your account, plus app version and device model.
• Crash and diagnostic data. Crash reports and error logs, which can include your IP address and account ID.
• Push token. If you allow notifications, a device token so we can tell you things like "your reel is ready".

How we use it

To make your brand kit and reels, keep your account working, process your plan, send the notifications you allow, answer support requests, see how people find our website, and find and fix problems. We don’t sell your personal information, we don’t show ads, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Under EU law, we rely on: providing the service you signed up for (account, brand kit, reels, purchases); our legitimate interest in keeping CreaSho secure and improving it (usage, crash and diagnostic data, and website analytics, which you can turn off in Cookie settings at any time); your consent (notifications, which you can turn off in your phone’s settings at any time); and legal obligations (purchase and tax records).

AI and your photos

CreaSho uses AI models to read your brand and make your reels, so your photos, prompts and brand details are sent to the AI providers listed below for that purpose only. We don’t use your content to train AI models, and our providers aren’t allowed to either. You can delete any photo or reel in the app at any time.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run CreaSho, under contracts that limit them to working for us:

• Clerk. Sign-in and account management.
• Convex. Our database and backend.
• Cloudflare. File storage, reel rendering and reading the websites you give us.
• Steel. Reading public website and social profile pages for your brand kit.
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it connects to, such as Anthropic. Understanding your brand and making your reels.
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google. Purchases and plan status.
• PostHog. Product analytics.
• Google Analytics. Website analytics, unless you turn it off in Cookie settings.
• Sentry. Crash and error reporting.
• Apple Push Notification service. Notifications.

Other disclosures

• When you share a reel. Reels you save or share leave CreaSho through your phone’s share sheet. The privacy policy of wherever you send them applies from there.
• When the law requires it. To comply with a legal request, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
• If the business changes hands. In a merger or sale, your information may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.

Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics unless you turn it off. It tells us which pages people visit, which site sent them, and their rough location, device and browser. We use it to see how people find CreaSho, not to identify you.

Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to two years. We turn off Google signals and ad personalisation, so your visits aren’t linked to ads. The app doesn’t use these cookies.

To turn analytics off or back on, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you turn analytics off, we stop measuring and remove those cookies. Declining doesn’t change how the site works.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, and it clears from backups within 90 days. We may keep limited records longer where the law requires, such as purchase records.

Your choices and rights

You can see, edit and delete your brand kit, photos and reels in the app, turn off notifications, and delete your account from Settings or on our delete account page.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. Email support@creasho.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in the EU, you can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) or your local data protection authority. California residents: we don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

CreaSho is made for businesses and isn’t intended for anyone under 13. Where local law sets a higher age for consenting to online services, younger users need a parent or guardian’s permission. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security and transfers

We encrypt data in transit and at rest and limit who on our team can access it. Some of our providers are based in or process data in the United States and other countries outside the EU. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
